
Course Tutor, Clinical Music Therapist & Supervisor, UK
Katherine Martin (B.Ed. Hons, MA Music Therapy) is a UK-based Clinical Music Therapist and Course Tutor with extensive experience in mental health and working with children with autism and complex needs. Since qualifying in 2008, she has worked in psychiatric settings, special schools, and residential homes, supporting individuals with profound disabilities, stroke recovery, and adult mental health through one-to-one sessions.
She is a registered clinical supervisor with the British Association of Music Therapists and provides supervision for other arts therapists.
Katherine has been involved in music therapy education in India since 2018, serving as Course Tutor and later Course Director for the Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Music Therapy offered by St. Mira’s College for Girls, Pune, and Ashwaas.
She currently works in the UK with Chroma, an organization that employs art, drama, and music therapists across the health, education, and social care sectors.
Katherine also serves in an advisory capacity for the Walter Lobo Wellness Trust, Goa, India, offering expert guidance on clinical music therapy training and education.
